North Dakota Highway Patrol Uses Drupal

Through the Drupal for Local Government Group, DouglasT posted that the North Dakota Highway Patrol is now using Drupal.

He continues that the goal is to use Drupal for all new redesign and builds under the North Dakota Information Technology Department.

More and more government agencies are seeing the benefits of Drupal and using Opensource Technology.

This benefits the taxpayers and the citzens they serve by saving money, and providing a much more open and usable system.

So many government agencies are sold high-priced and feature-lacking software that requires constant license upgrades and fees.

Great job on the site DouglasT and kudos to the North Dakota Government for their forward-thinking.
