The much anticipated Firefox 4 Beta has been released with a host of new features.
One of the newest features is the movement of the address bar below the tabs:

If you are using Windows, apparently this is enabled by default. If you are using any other operating system though you need to set it.
How to do it though isn't very obvious. I would suggest they move this option under the preferences to make it a little more apparent to the user.
This was done by the team to enhance user interface since the address is specific to the page you are viewing.
I've been using it for a few days, and while it did take some getting used to, I don't find the change overly obtrusive. If you are using windows, the address bar change will be automatic. If you are using a different operating system, you will need to change it from default using the icon to the far right of your tabs. Right-click on it and choose "Customize":

As far as performance goes the Mozilla team continues to improve. I noticed load times were quicker even though this is still beta software. There were a few hiccups with add-ons and plugins. HTML5 is fully supported along with the controversial decision to not include Flash. You can still install flash, it just doesn't happen automatically.
Remember this is beta software and not intended to be absolutely reliable. Some bugs do exist still, but with user input I have confidence the Mozilla Team will fix these flaws over the coming months.
Help test it out by downloading it and sending in your feedback.
At the very least, download and install the latest stable version, Firefox 3.6
